CPAR Member Tour Policy Updated 11.13.23

1. You must be a member of CPAR to participate. 1 per member, per tour. Open and secure your listing during the tour or assign a licensed host for the listing. No vacant lots. Any property under construction must be deemed safe to tour.

  1. If you are unable to be at the tour, you will need a CPAR member representative to participate as a host or the property will be removed from the tour.

2. Limit is 10 homes on tour. Attend as many of the other tours as possible. If you cannot, please remove your listing from the tour. Deadline is the day before at 4pm to ensure your listing gets on the tour.

3. Prepare handouts or be prepared to speak about the property

4. Speakers, snacks and drinks are optional. If you have plans to do so, please notify CPAR at cpar.realtors@gmail.com

5. Please make arrangements with your sellers ahead of time.

6. Tour is open to CPAR members and affiliates – ONLY

7. Geocode markers – make sure your listing location pin is on the driveway or parking area closest to the street (not on the house) to ensure it will be searchable on Google maps

8. Special tour will be done in Portales on occasion. If you add Texico to the tour, it will be last on the list.


FAQ

Q: How do I get a listing on the tour? [Video]

A: Open your listing in paragon – Action – select an action – add/edit tour listing – green plus sign – select the date – select a time (8:00am) end time (10am) leave a comment

Deadline is the day before at 4pm to ensure your listing gets on the digital tour.

Q: Can I put homes in other areas on tour? Portales or Texico?

A: Special tour will be done in Portales on occasion. If you add Texico to the tour, it will be last on the list.

Q: Can Donna do it for me?

A: No, it should be done by the listing broker or Qualifying Broker

Q: Can non-CPAR members put a house on tour? They are members of the MLS.

A: No, the tour is a CPAR affiliated member benefit

Q: How many houses can I put on tour [Video]

A: Start with 1 per member – Try to keep the total count between 8-12 if possible

You can check the tour list in Paragon under search Tour and Open Houses

Q: Vacant lots or Properties under construction?

A: No to vacant lots. Any property under construction must be deemed safe to tour.

Q: What if I need to cancel?

A: If it is before the deadline remove it from the listing actions. If it is the morning of call 575-762-4608 or have someone announce it at the meeting prior to tour.
