Dear Realtor friends,
As you know the last few weeks have been very trying to say the least. We are in unchartered territory and trying to make decisions that assures the safety and health of our members and public have been our utmost concern.
Melinda informed this morning that her son stayed with a friend out on base and he is now under a 14 day quarantine. Because of this, I have asked her to work from home for the next two weeks. If you need a lock box our president elect, Kathy Segura will meet you at the board office. Her number is 575-749-1881. You can also get lockboxes from Kiva in Portales by calling Wanda at 575-760-0155. Also, please don’t hesitate to call Melinda, CPAR number is forwarded to her cell phone, as she’s working from home or myself 693-6745 if you need anything. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are all in this together and we will get through this together. To be on the safest side we are also having the office cleaned and sanitized during this time.
I still believe it is a great time to buy a house! Interest rates are at historic lows and real estate is still a very sound investment. Plus, during times like this, our homes are our security. We can be the leaders that our buyers, sellers, and the entire community needs right now. Let’s be there for each other by keeping a positive attitude, praying, and lifting each other up! We can do this! Thanks for your patience and support. I will keep you up on any further changes. Everyone have a great day and please support our local businesses.

CPAR office Closure
The health and safety of our members, their families and our communities is of the highest importance. Gayla along with input from our Board of Directors have determined that it is the best interest of all to cancel tour for the next two weeks and to postpone our quarterly meeting that was scheduled for March 25th. It has truly been a difficult decision. For the sake of our communities, our members and the unknown and known dangers of the spread of this virus, cancellation of the event and avoidance of large gatherings is our civic duty and the right thing to do.
CPAR office will continue to stay open on regularly scheduled days and times during the next few weeks.
So until we can meet again, please stay sanitized, stay healthy, and offer care and support to those in your community who need help. We are REALTOR family. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to myself or Gayla Brumfield.
